Joel M Martin
Short Biography
Joel started ministering at the age of 14 years old and volunteered within the church from Sound/Multimedia (from age 8), Cleaning, Nursery, Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Music Pastor, Director of Church Ministries, Pastoring, and a lot more.
After Graduating from Highschool he attended Rhema Bible Training College where he earned a Youth Ministries Degree. After graduating, he met and married Shelley K Martin, and they held different positions within the church. Joel and Shelley have adopted 2 children and had 2 biological children of their own. Their four children's names are Michael Brian, Whitley, Aaron, and Josiah.
In 2013, Joel and Shelley established a church plant in Winder, GA named TheShield HD Worship Center. With the technology of the day, they established an online presence around the world. People from over 13 countries joined the services held live online.
Since then the Ministry has changed and is now called TheShield Ministry International, where Joel has ministered via Social Media Live Platforms in Pakistan and has now expanded the Ministry to TheShield Ministry International Uganda along with PASTOR DANIEL MUGENI.
Since handing the church building over to another church ministry in Winder, Joel has helped other churches and ministries get an online presence established, by setting up Livestream equipment, as well as a multimedia department. He also has volunteered to be over the Sound and Multimedia at different Youth Conferences, Campmeetings, Special Events, and more.
